It’s important to note that we are not a conventional placement agency:

  • We do not take a set percentage of the employee’s annual salary, as per the standard practice
  • We have a different operating and financial model that’s proved to be very cost-effective for our clients. This model has also been most successful in sourcing excellent talent worldwide
  • We offer no guarantee for any individual placed as a result of our services.

Our Talent Search approach

Here’s a guide as to what you can expect when you work with us to assist in the search for a new executive.  Our operating model includes three phases, as follows:

PHASE 1

Clarify your needs:

  • During an in-depth teleconference or face-to-face meeting, we discuss the requirements of the position. If there’s no job description, we can help you prepare one.
  • Your brief and job specification
  • Collaboration with you to manage expectations and gain a clear understanding of:

  1. Company background, structure and management style
  2. Elaboration of the skill set and type of talent and personality who would be the ideal fit in your company
  3. “Deal breaker” guidelines as supplied by the client.

Understanding your business and the type of individuals that would thrive in your company’s culture is critical.

Identify suitable potential candidates:

We gain access to top candidates by the following means:

  1. Searching our comprehensive database of potential candidates
  2. Making use of a full range of recruitment advertising avenues
  3. Approaching critical contacts in the market place
  4. Keeping up-to-date with social media trends.

– Circulate details of the job opportunity to BizWiser’s select network of contacts, as well as to crucial industry insiders

– Develop an advertisement (approved by you) which we place in targeted reputable international and local publications

– Conduct a “talent search“ on selected reputable global and local websites

– Review all CVs gathered

– Select a shortlist of candidates for discussion with you.

PHASE 2

Our extensive interviewing process allows us to select your preferred candidates from a group of people whom we have qualified against the following requirements:

  • Technical
  • Creative
  • Personality

As part of the vetting process, we can arrange for psychometric testing and other assessment methods.

  • You give us feedback on the first shortlist of candidates and request us to progress with your selected candidates
  • We arrange personal interviews with these candidates using either Skype or face-to-face meetings, depending on candidate location
  • We carry out thorough background and reference checks of your potential new employees to guarantee their credibility
  • We liaise with former employers and put forward recommendations to you
  •  We compile a comprehensive customised appraisal report on each of the candidates for discussion with you:

o   Biographical data, qualifications, career background, remuneration, availability

o   Summary of references

o   Strengths and challenges of the candidate’s personality and skills competence

  • We ensure that all the critical criteria of the job description are met.

PHASE 3

Once you have selected your final candidates from the shortlist, we arrange and attend follow-up interviews together with you:

  • We put together a final customised candidate appraisal report that will then be discussed with you before you make the final choice
  • We manage your offers of employment to make sure that you secure your new executive at the right remuneration level.
